Unresolved Trauma Creates Drama!

By Grada Robertson

September 1, 2023

Are you caught up in a never-ending cycle of drama?

9 out of 10 times it’s to do with suppressed trauma!

Especially, unresolved trauma from your childhood years, between the ages of 0 and 7.

Traumatic experiences, whether from childhood or adulthood, can leave emotional wounds that fester over time.

These wounds often remain unaddressed because we are busy distracting ourselves, or we are having ‘too much fun’ being busy pursuing a career or family and the issues in our tissues have nowhere to go.

What you resist persists!

Instead of healing, the suppressed emotions manifest as dramas in various aspects of life.

Dramas thrive on heightened emotions, conflict, and chaos.

When unresolved trauma gets triggered it can lead to intense reactions that may seem disproportionate.

If you have a lot of suppressed traumas in your subconscious mind, you might find yourself embroiled in frequent conflicts, struggling to maintain stable relationships, suffer financial setbacks, be accident prone, and experience more than your fair share of trouble and hardship.

So, dramas are really an invitation for you to commit to doing deep inner work, preferably with a coach/healer, who has specialized in trauma release and coaches you to do your inner work so you can have the best life.

Drama and unresolved trauma drain every resource you have, leaving you stuck in a pattern of negativity and scarcity.

Thankfully, there is a way out!

For those of you who haven’t met me before, I was involved in a catastrophic truck accident in 2006.

What you may not know is that as a family, we had suffered around 8 car accidents from 2002 to 2006.

It was as if the Universe was rocking our boat on purpose, inflicting huge stress and drama, which thankfully ended with my epic accident.

You can read all about how I figured out what the Universe was trying to tell, me, in my Memoir: You are the Miracle, how being hit by a truck saved my life!

Pete and I have been involved in many more big and small dramas since then, but are deeply committed to doing our inner work, and evolving as a person.

This really helps us be very resilient and connected to our inner peace no matter how chaotic it gets.

Now, you might be somebody who really enjoys dramas.

They make you feel alive and worthwhile.

You might love the attention, or the adrenaline rush you get from it.

Or perhaps you know somebody who is addicted to dramas.

The interesting thing is that the energy of drama cancels out the energy of abundance.

So, if you want an abundant life, and to prosper financially, in your relationships and enjoy great health, you must get off the drama gravy train.

I get it.

It’s tedious at first, but trust me, if you don’t want to do it for yourself, do it for your children or future offspring.

The cycle of drama perpetuates itself down the generations when unresolved trauma remains unaddressed.

Trying to live on autopilot, or even focussing on positive things, having a glass half full outlook on life won’t even protect you.

The energy of drama will follow you around until you address it and I encourage you to be the first one in your generation to take that step.

It’s so worth it!

Recognizing the role of unresolved trauma in generating dramas is the first step towards breaking free from these cycles. (I have seen the same trauma pattern spread across many generations, because I have had the privilege of working with thousands of clients.)

By addressing and healing our own emotional wounds and those of our ancestry, we can transition from a state of surviving to thriving!
