5 Spiritual Hacks to help you recover from setbacks!

Did you realize that all day long your body experiences wear and tear, and every night (when you are asleep) your body goes into full recovery mode?

Sometimes I compare your body with a car, but you are so much more than that!

Imagine if you parked your car all banged up and dirty in your garage every night, and in the morning it’s all clean and dent-free, ready for you to drive it around again?

That’s more like your body!

It’s the most powerful, amazing self-healing, self-cleaning machine!

And we don’t really appreciate it, until something goes majorly wrong.

Did you know that to RECOVER fully from the inside out, you must address all 3 of your bodies:

  • Your Physical Body – This one screams the loudest, so it usually gets all the attention. It shows up with pain, swelling, inflammation, fractures, or symptoms that shout, “Look at me!”
  • The Energetic Body – This subtle field of energy responds to therapies like acupuncture, Reiki, kinesiology, and hands-on healing. It’s the communication highway between the mind and the physical body.
  • The Mental-Emotional Body – This is the causative body, meaning that if there’s a glitch in your energy or physical health, it started here. This is where your emotional trauma, suppressed grief, unresolved fear, and limiting beliefs live.

When they build up or go unacknowledged, they leak into the energetic field and eventually solidify into physical problems.

My job as a healer/coach is to gently guide you to the wisdom that’s just outside your conscious awareness, so you can finally break the cycle of stress and suffering.

Now, why am I sharing all this with you today?

Because since last Saturday, I am recovering from a fractured right elbow. (click here to read the full story)

After a full day in the Purple House Kitchen, I went for a stroll through my garden when suddenly my nose hit the grass.

I had literally tripped over my own feet.

When I got up I noticed something was off.

My right arm wasn’t bending properly, and I could feel the Healing Forces at work around my wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Did you know that human beings are always connected to a vast field of infinite consciousness, wisdom and healing?

This field operates around us and throughout our bodies whether we are conscious of it or not.

So last Saturday, I realized something was broken, because the Healing Forces were abuzz on my right side.

Later that night, an X-ray confirmed a fractured radius.

The doctor advised I wear a sling for a month and book into the fracture clinic.

I wore that sling for one day.

By Monday—just 48 hours later—I had almost full mobility back.

I’ve been vacuuming, folding laundry, serving clients, writing emails, and even helping with the Airbnb without skipping a beat.

Today, I want to give you 5 Foundational Steps that will supercharge your recovery from setbacks and help you create a happy abundant life.

Yes, pain, panic, and fear may be present—but if you focus on them, you lock them into your energy field.

Never say: ‘why is this happening to me?”

Instead, ask yourself immediately: “Why is this happening for me?”

This flips you from victimhood to curiosity.

From powerlessness to potential.

When you stay in victim mode, the body stops believing in itself, you experience more pain, and healing slows down.

The “little self” is your everyday self—your supermarket-shopping, clock-watching, busy-busy-busy self.

This self is great at keeping routines going, but when you’re healing, it needs to hop in the back seat.

Let your Observer take the wheel.

Your Observer is your resident Inner Doctor.

When something big happens, it gently says: “Stay calm. Everything is in perfect order. Nothing needs to change right now.”

When you surrender to your Observer, something magical happens: The healing powers of the Universe take over.

This is exactly what happened to me when I got hit by a truck and was left with horrendous injuries on the side of the road.

The Observer in me stepped in, filled me with a calm that felt otherworldly, and then the Forces of Nature went to work.

Within a week, my broken neck had healed.

Over time, my entire sacrum was regenerated—even though the truck had shattered it.

Today, my X-rays show a completely healthy sacrum.

This leads me to the next foundational truth.

You get new eyeballs every 48 hours, a new liver every six weeks, and a new body every year.

So why would you force the Source when you can Source the Force?

Stop trying to fix it all with your mind.

Step aside, breathe deeply, and trust your body knows exactly what to do because it has the blueprint for perfect health.

It is always working in your favour, even when it seems like it’s falling apart.

Believe in yourself!

Stop fighting what is.

The broken elbow, the heartbreak, the truck moment—it’s happened.

Resisting it only makes the pain worse.

The opposite of resistance is surrender.

How do you know if you are living in resistance?

Here’s the answer:

In life, there are only two trains running.

The Resistance Train and the Joy Train.

How much JOY do you experience in your daily life?

If you can’t remember the last time you felt joyful, you are on the wrong train.

You are living in resistance, and you need to slow that train down, so you can hop off and catch the JOY train.

Yes, this is possible!

Many of my clients began to experience unshakable joy and inner peace after regular healing sessions with me, which brings me to point 5.

Your energy field is picking up and broadcasting signals 24/7.

The question is: Which channel are you tuned into?

  • Is it the Misery or Fear Channel?
  • The Doom & Gloom Station?

You can change the channel anytime you want.

Just tune into Gratitude FM.

Say to yourself every day:

  • I am the luckiest person alive,
  • I am so grateful for my beautiful body,
  • For the trillions of cells working towards my highest good,
  • For living in Australia.
  • I am a celestial being having a go at being human,
  • And I’m grateful for it all.

Gratitude is a skill not a special talent that you are born with.

You can practice it.

It recalibrates your entire frequency.

And it supercharges your healing.

So to recap, here are the 5 keys to fast recovery:

1.Stay out of the drama triangle/victim role.

2.Let your Observer take the wheel and put the small mind in the backseat.

3.Trust in your body’s innate intelligence and Source the Force

4.Surrender—don’t resist what is because what you resist persists.

5.Become a gratitude antenna.

We all go through “truck moments”—those sudden shocks or setbacks that throw us off course.

They can be physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual.

If you take these 5 steps every day, the Universe takes 5000 steps towards you, pouring healing energy into you, supporting you to be healthier, wiser, and stronger than ever before.
