4 tips to break free from negative patterns

A pattern will always have an origin.

As an intuitive healer, I always trace the roots of a pattern all the way back to the beginning.

You might have physical pain, relationship pain, or money pain.

All pain comes from the same place, from the depth of the subconscious mind.

A lot of people aren’t aware that they are dealing with a pattern, so they can’t fix it.

You can’t fix what you can’t see.

How do you know you have a negative pattern?

Things only have to happen twice, for you to suspect a pattern.

An example could be that you often get sick on a holiday OR you only fall in love with broken people. (But, you only realize that when it’s too late)

Another example can be that you never multiply your money.

As soon as it builds up, something happens, and you are back to square one.

If we look at a scarcity pattern for instance, this often comes from your parents, and they got it from their parents, who grew up underneath parents who spent their formative years in the Great Depression.

There was almost nothing to go around, and people had to scrimp and save to get by.

They were lucky if they didn’t starve.

So, we are third or fourth generation living in this lacking mindset/energy frequency, all because it’s a pattern.

It was a program that was developed by someone else, under different circumstances to ours today, and the worry and scarcity got ingrained into our ancestor’s nervous system as well as ours.

How does it affect you today?

It often means that you put in a lot of effort to make progress and deep down you feel that it should be easier.

You are right!

Life shouldn’t be such a struggle.

So, the question is, how do you change all this?

It boils down to 4 steps.

1. First you need to become aware of the pattern or the subconscious program.

How do you do that?

  • You look at your life situations without blinkers.
  • Which areas of your life do you experience stuckness?
  • How often does the cycle repeat itself?
  • Be brutally honest with yourself.

2. Secondly, seeing where it started.

For instance, financial hardship patterns could have started in the 1920’s during the Depression.

But many times, I have had to trace it back 6 or more generations in my clients before we reached the point of origin.

At least you have some awareness of how deep it runs in your veins, and you can decide that you don’t have any time for it here today.

You want to change it.

3. If it’s just a superficial pattern, you can transform it by raising your awareness, feeling into it, and changing your outlook on life.

To break through any old programming takes commitment.

4. Seek help from an expert!

The truth is that the deepest subconscious programs run our lives, and ironically, we often can’t access them, not even on a good day.

I have been a ‘hard core’ healer for almost 25 years, and 99% of the time I can see straight through my clients’ limiting beliefs and blind spots and clear them on the spot.

But often, I can’t do the same thing for myself, no matter how much inner work I do.

I seek help too.

I don’t want to waste time second guessing and I want to live my best life with the time I have left.

Today, I had a healing session from an intuitive healer/coach in New York State who works very similar to me.

Minutes into the session, she uncovered negative beliefs which I held in my heart, gallbladder, kidneys, and other parts of my body.

I thought I had worked through these years ago.

But not so, apparently!

I was happy to let her lead the way, right into old programming from my past, so she could clear them out with fresh energy and a new perspective.

At the end of the session I felt light and uplifted, as if all my organs had received a deep cleans and my nervous system had received an upgrade.

Gone were those old negative programs and their dense energies.

After my session we had a quick chat about the things we come across as healers.

We concluded that there is a reason we can’t always see and heal our own blind spots, because if we did, we wouldn’t reach out and connect with other people, and then we wouldn’t build communities.

So there is the gift.

When we reach out for help and share or relate our ‘weaknesses’ with others, we all become stronger!

Everyone benefits.

In summary:

Now that you understand that your negative patterns didn’t start with you, but you CAN change them, I hope that you decide TODAY to do something about it.

If your computer plays up, you take it to the computer repair shop.

They will look for glitches, outmoded components, and old operating systems.

They will have to be deleted immediately!

The old stuff needs to be found and removed before the new stuff gets uploaded and upgraded.

This is true for us too.

There is a reason positive thinking, affirmations or external changes don’t always do the trick.

It’s like trying to overlay new conditioning over the top of old conditioning.

It doesn’t hold.

Cracks appear as soon as the rubber hits the road.

You are worth more than that!
