Have you ever sat beside a river and felt your whole body exhale?
Like all the stress, noise, and worry just … slipped away?
I often walk down to the bottom of our property and sit next to the Forth River.
It’s one of my favourite spots in the world.
The water flows gently past, the birds call, the breeze hums through the trees—and within minutes, I feel calm, clear, and connected again.
I’m back to myself.
And I bet you’ve had a similar experience, maybe at the beach or walking through the forest.
What if I told you that the same intelligence that moves the river and the tides, also moves inside you?
Because the same force that guides nature … is the same force that runs your body.
Today, I want to help you reconnect to that force.
That still, wise part of you that knows exactly what you need.
It’s been with you since before you were born.
It is you.
The River Doesn’t Need to Try and Neither Do You.
You see, we’ve been raised in a world that tells us we have to try harder, push through, fix things, manage things, solve problems, hustle … you know the story.
But your body doesn’t operate that way.
Your heart doesn’t beat because you tell it to.
Your lungs don’t need a reminder to breathe.
Your immune system isn’t run by your to-do list.
Everything that really matters is being taken care of by the deeper part of your being—what we call your subconscious mind or your body wisdom.
Science tells us that your subconscious mind is more powerful than anything your conscious mind can fathom.
Some researchers compare it to the size and complexity of the entire galaxy.
Meanwhile, your conscious mind (what you’re using to read this email) is like a single pebble on the beach compared to the entire ocean.
So when clients come to me with problems—maybe in their health, relationships, or finances—I don’t just talk to the pebble.
I help them tap into the ocean.
I guide them back into the wisdom of their own body.
And that’s when the healing begins.
What Does This Mean for You?
If you’re hurting right now—physically, emotionally, mentally—just know that your body holds the key to relief.
And the good news?
You don’t have to climb a mountain or do a 10-day silent retreat.
You don’t even have to “figure it all out.”
All you have to do is remember how to listen.

Why It’s Hard to Hear Your Body ?
If tuning into your body wisdom is so powerful, why don’t more of us do it?
Here’s why: your brain is addicted to solving problems.
It loves to chase after the next drama, the next worry, the next to-do.
It gets a little hit of chemicals every time you feel stress or tension.
It thrives on keeping you “busy.”
Even when you think you’re relaxing, your mind might still be chewing away on something.
But the part of you that’s truly wise—the part that connects with Source, with nature, with truth—is always still, quiet, and present.
So unless we pause, we’ll miss it.
A Simple Meditation to Reconnect With Your Inner Wisdom
Let’s do that now.
This is a simple practice you can use anytime you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure.
You can read through it now, or listen to the audio or video version I’ve prepared for you.
Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Get Comfortable
Sit down somewhere quiet.
Maybe outside in nature, or in a comfy chair inside.
Let your feet rest flat on the ground.
Rest your hands gently in your lap.
Close your eyes if that feels safe.
Step 2: Breathe
Take a slow, deep breath in.
Feel the air enter your body.
And gently let it out.
Breathe in calm.
Breathe out any tightness or worry.
Do this a few more times, just settling into your body.
No pressure.
Just presence.
Step 3: Connect to the Universal Flow
Now imagine that a gentle stream of energy is entering the top of your head.
This is the same wisdom that moves the tides and the stars.
It flows in through your crown, down the back of your head, through your spine, and down into the base of your body—into your tailbone, your legs, and into the Earth.
You’re now plugged in—like a tree with roots and branches—drawing from above and below.
Step 4: Drop Into the “Docking Station”
Bring your awareness to the back of your head—just behind your eyes.
This is where universal energy “docks” into you.
Feel the stillness there.
- It’s quiet.
- Spacious.
- No labels.
- No roles.
- No pressure.
- Just you.
Step 5: Take the Lift Inside
Now imagine there’s a lift (an elevator) in the back of your head. It’s waiting for you.
You step in, press the button marked 4, and feel yourself gently descending into your heart space.
When the doors open, you see the beautiful energy of your heart.
Maybe it’s green, maybe pink.
This is where your unconditional love lives.
You don’t need to do anything here—just feel.
Let your body remember this place.
You are safe here.
Step 6: Travel Deeper
Now press the 2 on the lift.
You travel even deeper—down into your pelvis, your womb space, your creative centre.
This is where life is born.
Where healing begins.
Open the lift doors.
Feel into the stillness here.
This is your power.
If it helps, place your hands on your lower belly and just breathe.
Imagine this space filling with light.
Step 7: Ground in the Earth
Last step.
Press G for Ground.
You travel down into the centre of Mother Earth.
Here, everything is soft. Light. Joyful.
Step out of the lift.
Let the earth hold you.
Let the tension melt.
You are deeply supported.
Stay here as long as you like.
Then return back up the lift, visiting each level briefly, until you return to behind your eyes.
You can slowly open your eyes now.
Welcome back.
Why This Practice Works
When you connect with your body like this, something shifts.
- Your nervous system resets.
- Your immune system starts to work better.
- Your thoughts slow down.
- Your energy comes back online.
- Your pain often starts to dissolve.
- You stop fighting life… and start flowing with it.
It might sound too simple to be powerful, but simple is powerful when it comes to healing.
This is how I started to heal myself after my accident—the one that nearly took my life.
And this is what I teach my clients every day.
No matter what kind of “truck moment” you’re dealing with (a breakup, burnout, illness, grief), this is how you find your way back to yourself.
